Michael Martin and Tatiana Alvarez
Michael Martin and Tatiana Alvarez
Michael and Tatiana both share a lifelong passion for helping animals and working with people to create the best life for their furry family members.
Michael's journey in dog care spans over 19 years in Palm Beach County, driven by a lifelong connection to animals that began on a farm in Missouri. During his 19 years of training, boarding, walking, and pet-sitting, Michael developed a deep understanding of what truly makes dogs happy and healthy.
Although he once created the once top-rated pet spas on Palm Beach Island, Michael felt something was missing—the opportunity to focus entirely on each dog's well-being. He realized that dogs need more than just luxury; they need care that enhances their health, fitness, and emotional balance. In November 2021, Michael and Tatiana co-founded FITPup to offer exactly that—a holistic pet care experience where every dog is given the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. FITPup was built not just to care for dogs but to enrich their lives, helping them stay active, healthy, and happy.
Tatiana was born and raised in Colombia, with an innate and deep passion for all animals, great and small. Raised around cattle and then graduating from Veterinary school, Tatiana has dedicated her entire life to the service and love of animals. She brings an unparalleled level of love and care for dog health and wellbeing, with a focus on nutrition.

Our Dogs
Our Dogs
Dante is a Blue Nose American Bully/Pit Bull who came from Colombia with Tatiana. He has been with her since he was 8 weeks old. He is a passionate ball chaser, swimmer, and chewer of all things "indestructible." Dante is also a certified Service Animal. He loves puppies and is the perfect puppy "nanny." He enjoys having puppies chew on his ears and swimming with Michael's youngest daughter.
Eleanor is an American Pit/Bully/Boxer rescued from a local organization. She joined Michael and Tatiana at 9 weeks old and has only known life at FITPup. Eleanor loves to chew on Dante's ears, play with dogs of all sizes, and has never met a dog she didn't become friends with. She is always ready to say hi and play!
Iggy is a rescue from a local organization and is estimated to be at least 15 years old. A mix of Pomeranian and possibly Long Hair Chihuahua, Iggy is possibly the cutest dog...ever! With just one tooth and full of life, the only thing he loves more than food is Tatiana. He is a welcome addition to our home and business and loves everyone!
Roger is a French Bulldog, born in early 2023. He was adopted from a family member and is the sweetest Frenchie ever! With tons of energy and a non-stop happy attitude, Eleanor and Roger play for hours! Best friends from the start and a perfect energy match!
Lacey and Seve, our wonderful bonded pair of adoptees, are truly a heartwarming duo. Lacey, at 20 years old, has gracefully embraced her senior years alongside Seve, who is 9. Together, they thrive on our farm, where they spend their days enjoying the fresh air and open space. Their deep bond is evident in everything they do, and it's a joy to see them living out their golden years with such happiness. These two are a perfect reminder of the love and companionship rescue dogs bring into our lives.
Nani is a white Husky that came to us from a client, via a rescue in California! She was found with severe glaucoma and required surgery. Sadly, because of the severity of her condition, her eyes needed to be removed. Since then she has learned to run, play, socialize, and had become a wonderful part of the FITPup family! If you didn't know better you would swear she could see! Nani is sweet, loves cuddles and belly rubs, and is always ready to play! We are blessed to have her and grateful she's with us!
